CITRULLINE MALATE of HERO TECH NUTRITION

Is a food supplement powder based on L-citrulline malate. L-citrulline is a non-essential amino acid precursor of L-arginine and very abundant in fruits such as watermelon (citrullus lanatus). For its part, malic acid is an organic acid present in some fruits such as apples.

Three enzymes are involved in the metabolism of free citrulline: nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and ornithine carbamoyltransferase (OCT) that produce citrulline, and argininosuccinate synthase (ASS) that transforms it into arginine. In most NO (Nitric Oxide) producing tissues, citrulline is recycled to arginine via ASS to increase the availability of arginine for NO (Nitric Oxide) production.

Citrulline malate supplementation is widely used and popular among athletes of different sports.

ALLERGENS: May contain traces of gluten, milk, egg, soy, celery, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, fish, molluscs and crustaceans.

WARNINGS: Store in a cool and dry place. Heat and sunlight may damage the bottle. Keep out of the reach of children. Don’t exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Mix a daily dose (3 g) in 150 ml of water. Take 1 hour before physical exercise.
